Charity No. 1153311
At On Trak, there are a wide range of activities for our clients to choose from. We not only work with young people as a form of alternative education, but we also run team building days and residentials for groups or corporations.
We work in conjunction with Primary and Secondary schools and colleges to whom we offer enrichment activities tailored to suit their needs.
Individual enrichment activities (for groups of up to 15 people) include: kayaking, canoeing, raft buiding, gorge walking, indoor and outdoor climbing, high ropes, orienteering, archery, woodwork, environmental studies, Go-karting and kart maintenance.
We also offer:
Six week programmes for groups of up to 15 young people for one afternoon or one morning per week in outdoor education, woodwork, Go-kart maintenance and environmental studies which all include the ASDAN Life Routes and Key Skills Award.
An Intensive Wider Key Skills Level 2 qualification (for 10 young people) and which also includes accreditation and transport.
We also take individual young people who are in need of alternative education and who we charge for on a daily basis.
National accreditation embraces all of the above through ASDAN, NOCN and Youth Achievement Awards.
We cater for young people with disabilities and/or learning difficulties by developing and delivering a range of exciting educational experiences. Our young people often benefit greatly from the social integration and rewarding activities and leave with fond lasting memories of their time with us.
Our work with disaffected young people, those at risk of offending and those with behavioural issues brings challenges that are met with a positive attitude. We help them access education in an informal setting by combining hands-on learning with classroom based activities. We encourage them to believe in themselves and to believe in their abilities to improve their prospects for a brighter future.
Our care, enthusiasm and experience ensure that the young person's needs and progression will aways be of paramount importance to us.
